Jack Pecthey – 2026 Award Winners

Winner: Teanna Tran
Age: 17

Award for being an exceptional member of our Taekwondo programme, actively
participating and volunteering in both our junior and senior classes. She leads by
example through her dedication, commitment and positive attitude towards her own training, consistently striving to improve and encouraging those around her to do the same.

Funding Spent on: Grizzly’s Social Meal

Winner: Yusra Ahmed
Age: 20

Yusra has proven herself to be an invaluable member of our
Taekwondo group and an outstanding role model for her peers. She consistently
demonstrates exceptional leadership by supporting and encouraging our junior
students, helping to create a welcoming, inclusive and positive environment where they can develop both their skills and confidence.

Funding Spent on: Grizzly’s Social Meal

Winner: Abid Raz
Age: 18

Abid has been an outstanding and committed participant in our football programme, consistently demonstrating dedication, leadership and team spirit. He actively supports his peers, encourages attendance at training sessions, and gives 100% effort in every session he attends.

Funding Spent on: Wales Residential Transport and Food

Winner: Abdul Rokib
Age: 17

Abdul has been a dedicated participant in our weekly football
sessions and consistently goes above and beyond to support both the programme
and his peers. He always puts the team first, encourages others to succeed, and demonstrates outstanding dedication, teamwork and positive influence within the group.

Funding Spent on: Pitch Hire and Wales Residential Food

Jack Pecthey – 2025 Award Winners

Winner: Ismail Uddin
Age: 17

Award for being a valued member since the age of 11 and his impact has only grown over the years. His sense of humour and positive energy brings life to the youth. club. Ismail’s ability to uplift those around him make shim an inspiring and much loved-figure in the youth community.

Funding Spent on: Hindleap Warren  Residential Transport

Winner: Saara Hussain
Age: 13

Award for excelling in volunteering she encourages participation by involving other sin activities like baking and plays active role in organising trips, ensuring full attendance.  Saara’s warmth and ability to bring people together makes her a valued and inspiring presence in the youth club.

Funding Spent on: FlipOut & Seaside Transport

Winner: Mariam Sara Uddin
Age: 14

Award for her dedication and being a reliable member of the youth club who consistently goes above and beyond to support both staff and her peers. Sara Mariam plays a key role in the youth consultation  and quarterly planning, encouraging others to attend and share their views.

Funding Spent on: Go Ape Adventure trip

Winner: Nuha Nowmi Rasel
Age: 14

Award for her outstanding dedication to Taekwondo and her remarkable support of others in the sport. Nuha consistently shows kindness and leadership, arriving early  to welcome others .Not only has she excelled in her own training, but she now volunteers to help newcomers learn the Poomsae One and Two pattern.

Jack Pecthey – 2024 Award Winners

Winner: Maddison O’Callaghan Dobkin

Age: 18

Award for her voluntary commitment and dedication to the Caxton project, helps in the sessions, supports staff, engages in workshops. Appreciates the services and is an active voice in the consulation meetings.
Funding Spent on: PS4 and a BBQ social event

Winner: Hafsa Uddin
Age: 19

Award for her voluntary commitment and dedication to the Taekwondo project, excelling in the sport

Funding Spent on: Equipment, Taekwondo items

Winner: Kifayet Rahim
Age: 11

Award for his attendance. Kiyafet’s commitment and dedication has led him to understand youth work much better at an earlier age. He participated in all our organised workshops, completed online courses and is always eager to participate in our group groups discussions, giving suggestions for places to visit and goes on all organised trips. He is a friendly person and is approachable and learns fast making him fit into the older groups.
