We are delighted to have received £9,512 of funding from Sport England’s Movement Fund to support our Girls’ Taekwondo Project. This funding will enable us to continue delivering sessions for the next year, helping to increase access to Taekwondo for girls and young women from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.
Sport England’s investment supports positive opportunities for young people in areas with higher levels of inactivity. Our programme is specifically designed for girls who are currently inactive, particularly those from low-income and culturally diverse backgrounds. Through regular Taekwondo sessions, participants will build confidence, improve their physical activity levels, develop new skills, and take part in sport within a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
